"Your brand better be delivering something special,
or it's not going to get the business."

Despite what you may wish to think, a successful brand,
whatever it may be a franchise, a service, a product does not
actually belong to you. It belongs to the customers who put their
faith in it. And they do that because, of all the competitive
brands available, something about yours says: "Im special. Im
better. Im yours".
Consider Harley Davidson.
We would argue that there are many superior motor-cycles
(Yamaha, Honda). And less expensive. But Harley Davidson have gone
from near bankruptcy a few years ago to clearly the most desired
brand. Harley Davidsons do not belong to the company that make
them. They belong to the people who ride them. And thats the
difference.
